Why it matters

Bonds

US October 2025 CPI was never published. Treasury set the index for inflation-protected bonds with its fallback rule, for the first time since TIPS began in 1997.

Contracts

Price escalation clauses cite producer price indexes. The Bureau of Labor Statistics discontinued about 350 of them in August 2025.

Forecasts

China suspended its youth unemployment rate in August 2023, after it reached 21.3%, then brought it back in January 2024 with students excluded.

How we build it

Pull
Every archived capture of the source sites: statistics offices, bank rate pages, government portals.
Read
Language models read each version and flag what changed between captures.
Check
Two independent model reviewers code each change and a third settles disagreements. Each event is confirmed against an outside source.
Deliver
Point-in-time files in which every row links to the archived page it came from.
